Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Ezan Vakti app (the "App") developed by Selim Yesilyurt ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Ezan Vakti is a free, ad-supported application that provides daily Islamic prayer times (namaz vakitleri) based on your location or manually selected city. The App displays the five daily prayer times — Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha — along with optional adhan notifications.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
The prayer times provided in the App are calculated based on standard astronomical formulas and widely accepted calculation methods. While we strive to ensure accuracy, prayer times may vary slightly depending on your exact location, elevation, and the calculation method used.
We recommend verifying prayer times with your local mosque or religious authority. We are not affiliated with any religious institution or government body.
The App may request access to your device's location to provide accurate prayer times for your area. Location data is processed entirely on-device and is not shared with us or any third party (other than as described in our Privacy Policy regarding AdMob). You may use the App without granting location access by selecting your city manually.
The App may send local push notifications to alert you to prayer times (adhan reminders). You can enable or disable these notifications at any time in your device's Settings or within the App itself. We are not responsible for missed notifications due to device settings, battery optimization, or system restrictions.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the display of ads. Ad content is provided by third parties and we are not responsible for the content of advertisements.
All content, design, graphics, and software in the App are the property of Selim Yesilyurt or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
